Port Hedland

Strategically located in Australia's North West Port Hedland International Airport (PHIA) is the only International Airport in the Pilbara and provides a direct link to the world's largest iron ore export port and holds a central, geographical advantage to major oil and gas fields from the Exmouth Gulf to the Browse Basin.

Our regular passenger and charter services include Bali (Sat), Brisbane (Tue) and Perth (multiple daily flights). The Airport welcomes more than 400,000 passengers and hundreds of international aircraft movements (charters, medivacs, fuel stops and diversions) each year. 

PHIA is a designated Australian first-point-of-entry with Border Force and biosecurity operations. The Airport is home to domestic and international freight operators, a certified international cargo terminal operator (CTO) and regularly handles the world’s largest aircraft such as the Antonov 124, oversize, time-critical freight movements for the resources sector.

PHIA has an established Heliport fixed base operation and dedicated passenger processing facility with. The Airport's on-site resources include; refuelling, aviation rescue firefighting, charters and a passenger flight network connecting the Kimberley and Pilbara regions, transient worker accommodation and the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Extensive acreage offers the only direct RAV-10 road-train access from the Great Northern Highway in Port Hedland, a bulky goods precinct and limitless development opportunities for supply chain and heavy transport infrastructure. PHIA's Highway Precinct is centrally located in the North West, the 30ha development offers tenants a set of unique benefits, including flexible lease options and development support.
